This two bedroom vacation house is perched on a butte overlooking the
National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park. Walls of glass open
up the living space to the grand vista.
The juxtaposed roof planes echo the slopes of the hillside. Curved
retaining walls and planters lead up to the house, which steps up the
hill further, responding to the natural terrain.
A planned addition which extends the main living level over the existing
garage will be stepped back to maintain the terraced form of the
original massing. |
