Spring fed ponds flank this
high mountain home, reflecting the Spanish Peaks and Lone
Mountain across the valley. Vertical stone shafts and log columns
define interior spaces and work together to create an expressive
building form.
Exterior materials include quartzite stonework, cedar siding, teak
windows, and a copper roof. Interior doors and windows are
mahogany. Mesquite floors compliment vertical grain fir wall paneling.
The rich palette of finishes continues with leather and java stone
floors in the master suite and custom
handrails and copper wall treatments by metal smith Steve Fontanini. |
